Nancy, originally from Homestead, FL, graduated from Florida State University in 1979. She and her family moved to DeLand after her husband, Douglas, retired from UPS in 2005. The Goodfellow family moved to DeLand because of the friendly people they met in the West Volusia area and because of the FFA program at DeLand Senior High. They have three children: Douglas II, 22, Michele, 20 and Cristina, 19. Nancy has been a Certified Public Accountant for 18 years and has been involved in a number of community service organizations in the DeLand Area and South Florida.
Michael, a Certified Public Accountant, attended Excelsior College in Albany, NY, where he majored in accounting and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He earned his master's degree in Administrative Organization and Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. Prior to his accounting career, Captain Wright served in the Air Force as a meteorologist. A resident of Orange City, he was recently elected to serve as a City Council Member, and he plays the flute in his church's orchestra. Michael is also fluent in Spanish. His wife, Dalys volunteers for Hospice. They have one son, Steven.
Peggy Whitmore, originally from 'near Chicago', has been a Florida resident since 1995. Peggy has 15 years of private bookkeeping experience. In 2003, she earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Stetson University. Peggy is an Enrolled Agent, which qualifies her to practice before the IRS. Peggy has a 15 year old son, Tristan, and lives in Orange City. Peggy is a Certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor, and she manages all of our Remote Access Clients.
Mike came to DeLand in 1972 to attend Stetson University, graduating in 1978. Mike is married to Linda, Vice-President for University Relations at Stetson University, and has two children: Joseph, 18, and Paul, 26. Mike, a former IRS agent, began the accounting firm Davis Financial Associates in 1987. Mike is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. He currently serves on several non-profit organization boards in the area and has been a member of the DeLand Breakfast Rotary Club since 1987.
